Danna L. Helms, a graduate of the College of Charleston, began her career with Financial Management Group in 2006 after several years of traveling the world as a comedy host and performer with Carnival Cruise Lines and independently in Los Angeles, California.

Danna’s transition into financial services was inspired by a lifetime of watching her father, Dan Childress, become such an important and trust-worthy guide to the financial lives of his clients. She has proven herself as a valuable part of the firm’s team, and in 2008 was CDP Advisor of the Year.

Danna’s focus with her clients, who are mostly business owners and young professionals, is on education and guidance. She sees great service in “ensuring her clients understand exactly how their investments and benefits actually work.”

Danna is currently licensed in several states around the country and holds Series 7, Series 66, and variable life and health licenses. She currently lives in Mt. Pleasant where she is an active member of her church community group and recreational sports leagues, and is an avid golfer.
